FREIGHT FREE POLICY
Simms Jones Ltd may from time to time offer free delivery on orders above a certain value. The value of the freight free threshold is subject to change and is usually made clear on our home page.
How to claim the free freight offer; when checking out, assuming your order meets the minimum value for free delivery, you will notice an option for “Free Delivery” will appear in the delivery options. It is your responsibility to choose this option should you wish to redeem it. Please note that we do not offer shipping refunds should you fail to redeem your free shipping, this is because the administration cost of processing your refund would be greater than the value of the refund.

Exemptions to Freight Free Policy. Some big, bulky, orders and items will be exempt from any free delivery offer. This is usually very bulky orders, deliveries to hard to reach places, heavily discounted items. Usually, you will find notes warning about free delivery exemptions within the product listings. Exemptions are entirely at the discretion of Simms Jones Ltd and we will notify you prior to dispatching your order should there be any additional freight to pay so that you can decide whether to proceed.

DELIVERIES
Simms Jones Ltd offers deliveries to most major areas of New Zealand by courier. A delivery is interpreted as an attempted delivery by our chosen courier company. We do not accept liability or delay in the event there is no-one to receive the delivery at the delivery address.

You may or may not be asked for a signature on delivery. Deliveries will not be left on your premises if no-one is home unless you expressly request it when you check out. If you are comfortable for the goods to be left if no-one is home, please state this on your order in the comments section and advise a safe & secure place for the order to be placed.  If a secure place cannot be found for the goods they will be taken back to the depot. If redelivery is attempted you may be charged a second delivery fee.

We cannot accept any responsibility for theft or loss once goods are delivered.

Please contact us directly if you would like to make alternative delivery arrangements. For security reasons we cannot deliver to Post Office boxes, however if you live in a small country town and items are usually delivered to the post office or central pickup point, please provide the physical address, not the PO box.

All items purchased from Simms Jones Ltd are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. Please allow 5 business days for shipment. If the delivery details given by you are incorrect, and thus affecting delivery we may have to charge an additional delivery charge.
